Earlier this year, we announced that HiHello achieved its SOC 2 Type I compliance certificate. Today, we are excited to reveal that HiHello is now compliant with the SOC 2 Type II standard for security.
We built HiHello Business and HiHello Enterprise because brands need a digital business card platform they can trust. Organizations worldwide rely on HiHello for digital business cards, lead generation, and brand management, and we want our customers to know that their data is safe and secure.
“We are proud to say that we are the only business card platform that’s earned its SOC 2 Type II compliance certification,” said Dr. Manu Kumar, HiHello’s Co-founder and CEO. “Between HiHello’s advanced security protocols, robust administrative controls, and powerful integrations, HiHello is the enterprise-ready platform for digital business cards. We are excited that companies from all over the world have chosen HiHello as their trusted partner in the business card space.”
Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2) was created by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and defines how software-as-a-service organizations should manage user data.
SOC 2 compliance consists of two different types: Type I and Type II. Companies with a Type I certificate have completed a security audit by a third party. After maintaining those controls over some time, companies are eligible to receive their Type II certification.
HiHello achieved its SOC 2 Type I compliance certificate after successfully completing a security audit conducted by a third party. HiHello’s security controls have remained effective over the last several months, earning HiHello the Type II compliance certificate.
HiHello also has a live security report available to current and prospective HiHello Enterprise customers upon request. Customers can also view the SOC 2 report after completing a non-disclosure agreement.
Please contact our enterprise sales team if you are interested in seeing the security report.
