Most companies are doing business worldwide, across cultures and languages, and traditional paper business cards in a single language can’t keep up.
With HiHello digital business cards, it’s easy to manage all of your business cards in any language. Keep reading to learn how HiHello supports multiple languages through our apps, your digital business cards, and the card-receiving process.
HiHello currently supports English, French, and Spanish within its mobile app. HiHello will automatically detect your device's language and update the language in the app if it is supported.
While the app itself is only translated into a handful of languages, you can add content to your card in any language—HiHello does not translate any user-entered text. For example, if you add a note to your card in Korean, that note will always be in Korean, no matter who receives your card.
When you send your card to someone, the card-receiving experience will be in the receiver's preferred language. Supported languages currently include English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese.
Because you can add content in any language, you can customize your cards for every interaction in any language. For businesses that often communicate through multiple languages, we recommend creating a duplicate of each card in every language. This ensures you maintain a consistent brand image across all of your cards while offering accessibility across multiple languages.
Does HiHello support right-to-left languages?
HiHello supports all languages within digital business cards. When creating a card in a right-to-left justified language, the user should copy and paste the text into the box rather than typing directly into the field.
Will HiHello add more supported languages?
Yes, our team is always working to make HiHello more accessible to everyone by adding more supported languages.
